In Southeast Asia, she has supported a Thai foundation in designing innovative waste management solutions that mitigate plastic pollution in rivers, fostering meaningful partnerships with local communities and stakeholders. She has also contributed to research on socio-economic development at a Moroccan think tank, focusing on gender equality and the role of AI in the Middle East and North Africa. Detail-oriented and always hitting the right notes, Marta has a knack for cutting through complex policy issues and uncovering key details – whether she is fine-tuning strategies, analyzing reports or carrying a tune in her spare time.
Marta holds an MA in Transnational Governance with a specialization in Sustainability from the European University Institute (Italy) and a BA in International Affairs and Economics from John Cabot University (Italy).
