Legal and regulatory advisory support in partnership with Civitta, to Moldova’s Ministry of Infrastructure for the transposition of the EU eFTI Regulation into national law. This includes a gap analysis, drafting of primary and secondary legislation, a Regulatory Impact Assessment, and stakeholder consultation – advancing Moldova’s alignment with EU standards in digital freight transport.

Assessment of fossil fuel subsidies across EU Member States, aimed at quantifying effective energy tax rates and Effective Carbon Rates (ECRs) across fuels, sectors and subsectors. The project supports the identification of pricing gaps and underpricing patterns, contributing to the development of evidence-based recommendations for reforming fossil fuel subsidies and strengthening energy and carbon pricing frameworks.

Study for DG TAXUD assessing how customs special procedures under the Union Customs Code (UCC) are implemented in the EU Member States and how they could be simplified. The project considers the five procedures of customs warehousing, temporary admission, end-use, and inward and outward processing, with a focus on their impacts on trade facilitation, compliance, competitiveness, and the implications of the ongoing EU Customs Reform.
